چکیده
Chicken feathers are valuable solid waste that mainly contains insoluble proteins called keratin. Naturally, keratin is degraded by microbes produce a specific protease keratinase. Many reports have been addressed to study Bacillus species as keratin-degrading microbes. However, most reported works were using pathogenic soil Bacillus. Our work has concentrated on keratinase produced bacterium, sp. MD24 and we confirmed it non-pathogenic bacterium. This report describes the different profiles of fermentation between sub-merged (SmF) solid-state (SSF) chicken sole carbon nitrogen source. Keratinase production weight loss followed for 10 consecutive days, molecular was investigated, type concentration 18 amino acids determined LC-MS/MS after days seek its potential acid source, protein by-product measured. The results showed well in SmF better compared SSF with optimum times. Surprisingly, L-arginine dominant hydrolysate which contained 42.06% total made organism production. As relatively low both conditions showing effective utilization matter energy consequently, cell-free should be applied degrade into materials.

Evaluation of Ca-Independent a-Amylase Production by Bacillus sp. KR-8104 in Submerged and Solid State Fermentation Systems
This study investigates the production of crude Ca-independent and low pH active α-amylase by Bacillussp. KR-8104 in submerged fermentation (SmF) and solid-state fermentation (SSF) systems. Differentparameters were evaluated in each system using “one factor at a time” approach to improve the production ofenzyme. The results showed that in the SmF the maximum enzyme production ...
متن کاملSolid State Fermentation for Production of Chitosan by Aspergillus Niger
The effect of Solid State Fermentation (SSF) on Chitosan production by A. niger was investigated. A. niger BBRC 20004 from Biochemical and Bioenvironmental Research Centre of Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran), was grown on corn residue. Chitosan was extracted from the fungal mycelia using hot alkaline and acid treatment. A. niger was incubated for 12 days on corn residue with moist...
متن کاملAmylase production by solid-state fermentation of agro-industrial wastes using Bacillus sp.
Solid state fermentation was carried out using various agro- industrial wastes with the best amylase producing strain isolated from soil. Different physicochemical conditions were varied for maximum enzyme production. The strain produced about 5400 units/g of amylase at 1:3 moisture content, 20% inoculum, after 72 h of incubation with Mustard Oil seed cake as the substrate. The optimum temperat...
متن کاملXylanase Production under Solid State Fermentation by Aspergillus niger
Central composite orthogonal design was applied to quantify relations of xylanase production, loss of dry matter and change of pH with four critical variables during solid state fermentation of a mixture of wheat bran and wheat straw on which Aspergillus niger CCUG 33991 was cultivated. The studied variables included the percentage of wheat straw, temperature, moisture content, and fermentati...
متن کاملExo-polygalacturonase production by Bacillus subtilis CM5 in solid state fermentation using cassava bagasse
The purpose of this investigation was to study the effect of Bacillus subtilis CM5 in solid state fermentation using cassava bagasse for production of exo-polygalacturonase (exo-PG). Response surface methodology was used to evaluate the effect of four main variables, i.e. incubation period, initial medium pH, moisture holding capacity (MHC) and incubation temperature on enzyme production. A ful...
